In 2015 our Eastern Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) reorganized it’s congregations into 18 geographical Ministry Areas. Each Ministry Area has the leadership of an Area Dean.
For the Central Toronto Ministry Area that is Rev. David Tin.
Pastor David is the pastor of Rhenish Lutheran in Markham and the former Dean of the Toronto Conference. He is the presiding chairperson of the Chinese Ministry Conference – ELCIC, representative of ELCIC in F.I.L.L. (Canadian Council of Churches). His passion is fresh expression in outreaching & evangelism in our multi-cultural community. He is a firm believer of partnership across congregations, ethnicity, denominations, and generations. David is married to Rev. Mavis Fung and blessed with 2 boys.
